Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Full Stack Software Engineer. The Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing and testing code, designing user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing databases, and ensuring the overall functionality and performance of our software. The engineer will also participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: CURRENTLY THIS IS NOT PAID POSITION

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain both back-end and front-end components of the platform.
• Implement scalable and efficient solutions using Django, Redis, PostgreSQL, React, Redux, and Material-UI (MUI).
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to design and develop new features for the platform.
• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in web-based applications.
• Follow cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and system design.

Qualifications:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Back-End Development: Experience with Django, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Front-End Development: Proficiency in React, Redux, and Material-UI (MUI).
• CSS Expertise: Strong skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for designing responsive interfaces
• Experience: At least 2 years of full-stack development experience.
• Web-Based Applications: Proven track record of working on web-based solutions.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with best practice for securing web applications.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Remote Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a remote collaborative team environment.
• Healthcare Industry Experience: Previous experience in the healthcare sector is a plus bonus
